Explanation regarding the various fields used in the stakeholder description is provided in Stakeholder template.
|Stakeholder Name||Global society|
|Stakeholder Class||Containing Business Environment|
|Stakeholder Role||Especially the specialized organisations of the United Nations system are an important provider of free and open publications and data. These are called "global public goods", yet many people are not aware of their existence.|
|Stakeholder Rationale||The Global Society should ensure that all "public content" can indeed be found and accessed by as many people as possible. The International Federation of Library Associations has done a lot of advocacy regarding Libraries, Development and the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The figure below has been influenced by some of that work. It is concluded that libraries are potent enablers for achieving a large number of the sustainable development targets.|
|Involvement||Funding and providing public content in ways that makes it easy to retrieve, for instance as described in #tags in support of easy information retrieval|
|Classes of knowledge||Goals, Business constraints, Technical constraints, Functionality, Non-Functional requirements, Project Issues. (to be completed)|
|Hands-On Users||This stakeholder is not a hands-on user of the #2030library as such, yet many of its agents will be in roles explained for the other stakeholders.|
|Non Functional Requirements||(to be completed)|
|Project Issues||(to be completed)|
In the below model we use ArchiMate 3 model elements and mutual relationships as explained in the work system or facility pattern.
This page is part of the requirements for a #2030Library - A global library for Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (and fighting the emergence of #AltFacts in public policy).
